Terms and Conditions Welcome to ExpeditionEdge Engineering. By using our services or website, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully before engaging with us. ________________________________________ 1. Introduction 1.1 These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern the provision of services by ExpeditionEdge Engineering ("we," "us," or "our") to customers ("you" or "your"). 1.2 By using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms. 2. Services 2.1 We provide motorhome, trailer,caravan, and campervan engineering services, including repairs, conversions, and inspections. 2.2 Service descriptions are for general guidance. Specific details will be outlined in your service agreement or invoice. 2.3 We reserve the right to refuse service at our discretion. 3. Bookings and Appointments 3.1 Bookings can be made via our website, phone, or email. 3.2 Appointment times are approximate and may vary based on unforeseen circumstances. 3.3 Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Late cancellations may incur charges. 4. Pricing and Payment 4.1 All prices are subject to VAT unless stated otherwise. 4.2 Quotes provided are estimates based on the information available at the time. 4.3 Full payment is required upon completion of services unless otherwise agreed. 4.4 Payment methods accepted include cash, credit/debit cards, and bank transfers. 5. Late Payment Fees 5.1 Payments must be made by the due date specified on the invoice. 5.2 If payment is not received within the statutory minimum period (currently 30 days for business-to-business transactions, unless otherwise stated), a late payment fee will be applied in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998 (as amended). 5.3 The late payment fee will include: •Statutory interest of 8% above the Bank of England base rate. •A fixed compensation amount, as allowed under UK law: o£40 for debts up to £999.99. o£70 for debts between £1,000 and £10,000. o£100 for debts over £10,000. 5.4 If the matter proceeds to court, you will be liable for all legal fees incurred, plus any proven losses resulting from your failure to pay, including recovery costs. 6. Customer Obligations 6.1 You must provide accurate information about your vehicle and its condition. 6.2 Ensure the vehicle is accessible and safe for us to perform the work. 6.3 Notify us of any changes to your booking or vehicle details as soon as possible. 7. Guarantees and Warranty 7.1 We guarantee workmanship for 12 months from the date of completion, excluding normal wear and tear, misuse, or third-party modifications. 7.2 Manufacturer warranties apply to parts and materials used. 7.3 Warranty claims must be reported promptly and will be subject to inspection. 8. Liability 8.1 We are not liable for delays caused by events beyond our control, such as weather, supply chain disruptions, or customer non-compliance. 8.2 We will not be liable for loss of use, income, or any indirect or consequential damages. 8.3 Our liability for any claim is limited to the value of the services provided. 9. Privacy and Data Protection 9.1 We collect and use your data in accordance with our Privacy Notice. 9.2 Your data will not be shared with third parties without your consent unless required by law. 10. Cookies 10.1 By using our website, you agree to the use of cookies as outlined in our Cookie Policy. 11. Cancellations and Refunds 11.1 Services may be cancelled with 48 hours' notice for a full refund. 11.2 Refunds for completed services will only be provided where errors or omissions are proven. 12. Third-Party Services and Products 12.1 We may recommend third-party products or services. We are not responsible for their performance or terms. 13. Intellectual Property 13.1 All content on our website, including logos and designs, is protected by copyright and may not be used without permission. 14. Amendments 14.1 We reserve the right to amend these Terms at any time. Changes will be published on our website. 15. Governing Law 15.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. 15.2 Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Scotland. ExpeditionEdge Engineering – eGift Card Terms & Conditions These Terms & Conditions apply solely to eGift Cards issued by ExpeditionEdge Engineering. 1. Validity Period The eGift Card is valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. The expiry date is clearly stated at the time of issue. Once expired, the eGift Card cannot be used, reactivated, or refunded. 2. Redemption eGift Cards can be redeemed toward any service offered by ExpeditionEdge Engineering, including inspections, installations, conversions, and off-grid upgrades. Booking is subject to availability and must be scheduled in advance through official contact channels (phone, email, or website). 3. Refunds and Cancellations A full refund is available within 14 days of purchase, provided the card has not been redeemed or partially used. After 14 days, refunds will be subject to a £25 administrative fee to process the cancellation. No refunds will be issued after the expiry date or once the eGift Card has been redeemed in full or in part. 4. Usage Rules The eGift Card is non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash. Multiple eGift Cards may be used together toward a single booking. Any balance remaining after a partial redemption may be used toward future services, provided it is still within the 12-month validity window. 5. Lost or Stolen Cards ExpeditionEdge Engineering is not responsible for lost, stolen, or misused eGift Cards. Please store your eGift Card securely and treat it like cash. 6. Fraud Prevention Any suspected misuse or fraudulent activity will result in the immediate suspension of the eGift Card. Legal action may be taken where applicable. 7.
